Proteomics and Signaling @ CITYU

The research in the laboratory is driven by our interests in understanding how interactions and modifications of biomolecules are implicated in cell signalling and diseases.  We apply integrative approaches that combine mass spectrometry-based proteomics and other systems biology tools to dissect the wiring of signaling networks. We are especially interested in delineating protein-protein and protein-RNA interactions that underlie biological processes. In parallel, we also explore protein dynamics and modifications that orchestrate oncogenic signalling pathways. We also actively collaborate with various teams of scientists on a broad range of fun projects that develop techniques, biomarkers, and therapeutics.
